The wine pours a dark red in the glass, and almost immediately, lovely aromas of cassis, mint and an earthy tapenade note erupt from the glass. The palate is lush, medium bodied, and a creamy rich fruit shows up front. Black fruit are harmoniously intertwined with herbs, mint and chocolate notes. The tannins are soft, almost sweet, and the wine finishes savory and soft. Great with or without food. 20$-25$ CAN

I thought I would give the baseline POV. A try this week. Cab sauv with a full body. Honestly just ok. First glass with pizza was better than second alone.

Searching for a cheap & cheerful drop. This isn't it. Light, hollow and verging on cherry sweet.
