Beautiful as always but came across as slightly muted on the nose. Some sour notes on the finish after an hour. Seems to be typical of this vintage.

Aug 31st, 2018One of the more tricky vintages I've had of this wine. Flat out wasn't enjoyable on day 1 due to a sour note. Day 2 was completely resolved and that amazing red licorice core was on full display.

Took a while to unwind... tight and little bittersweet at first. With about an hour unveiled silky smooth red and black fruits, super silky tannins. Wish that wasn't my last one...
