This (red) rully was fairly old - 2009 - fairly light and initially quite acidic although it's 5 year age (I suspect) helped to dampen this a bit and gave the wine a bit more oomph. After an hour or so it opened up and was great with a light dinner - I thought it worked better with food than on its own

Stunning. A well made Rully always blows me away, tried this because I drink the Chardonnay so regularly and it was exactly as I hoped.
