Meyer lemon, tart pear, sea shells and white flowers. Simply a pleasurable, food-friendly and well-crafted example of the region. Very clean, crisp, mineral-forward Chardonnay without any evidence of oak and maybe just a partial malolactic treatment. Short finish and moderate complexity, but very lively and fresh on the palate and a great accompaniment to a range of foods including sushi, tacos, barbecue and light sauces.

The beautiful thing about wine is that there is something for all occasions (and subsequently, all price points). I absolutely adore the Macon for its flavor & value. Let’s admit, Chardonnay for its category is pretty well saturated. A village-level wine need not be seen as one dimensional or simple but rather all-encompassing of a single appellation or a better testament of producer winemaking using a greater scope.
This is my bargain wine. This is my Gatorade. I drink this to myself on summer nights when I wreck havoc on my coworkers for inviting me to their Fantasy Football league. Go team

Palate presents with vanilla and green grass, then some toasty oak, and finished w a splash of lime. Bigger than a value Chardonnay should be. Great for an everyday drinker.
