Lots of earth on the nose in a woodsy, fecund fashion. On first blush presents a lush mouthful of big, red fruit leaning towards cherry. It unctuously clings as it drifts across your tongue and down one's throat resulting in a adequate finish! This being my first finer red wine from Portugal, but for port, I am pleasantly pleased with its stature and amarone-esque nature!
By the way, I am at Haven, in Tampa (crazy cool wine bar and small dish offerings)!
