This is my go-to low cost wine. $16ish. Cherries, very easy to drink, dry enough not to overwhelm.

Nose has muted earthy notes. Taste has some peppery notes with lots of dark fruit. Little acid but alcohol feels warm in the mouth. Definitely Merlot based. Finish is light. Not bad for $14
