Nose of tobacco, spice box and barrel toast. On the palette, the tannins are a touch gnarly, but provide texture and structure. Plenty of dark berry fruits blend with a hint of cloves and cinnamon. Not as sweet as I expected. This needs air-time, but is showing well.

Smashing! Beautiful example of northern Victorian wine. Not overbearing, plenty of length, enjoy on a lazy Sunday afternoon so you have plenty of time to aerate it.
