Pepper and meat and dark fruited. A nice "Northern Rhone" feel to it, yet clearly Yarra Valley; delicious with roast lamb rack

Lovely wine. Single vineyard Yarra Syrah with plenty of whole bunch action. Smells of blackberry, plum, slight blue fruitedness along with chestnuts, green olive, pepper and grape stems. Medium bodied with beautiful purity of fruit supported with a fine spread of tannin. The wine was continuing to evolve given time open; while enjoyable now I see value in putting a couple away.
