Enjoying this “Sauvignon Chablis” a lot. Very fragrant nose has beautifully ripe gooseberry fruit, meadow wildflowers, and some of the brothy wet limestone earthiness I love from this region. Just enough green herbal grassiness to let you know it ain’t Chardonnay. Nice balance of mineral, green herb, and fruit on the palate. Acids a bit low. But hey, global warming and 2020 and all that. Nice deck-sipper before dinner.
