A little lacking.. Goes well with food, but it is so soft that if the food is too bright or flavorful, it is overcome and has no taste. White pear, butterscotch and vanillin spices to the finish. Can't say I'd really prefer this but it is crowd friendly and easy to drink. I will say congrats to Mr Lohr for his lifetime achievement award from Wine Enthusiast, he does deserve it.
