The wine is simply outstanding. Light in color and medium body with quite high alcohol (13.9) but never overbearing. Full cherry and licorice, beautiful nose. Drinks great now but wait. And knowing they have even better cuvees.

Dark cherry fruit is still intense after 8 years. Needs a few more to get more subtle if that’s what you’re into. Meanwhile it’s drinking rich and voluptuous

Brawny, big, tight. Needed air. My second time with this wine. This is a steak eaters Brunello. So much structure, it needs some beef fat to tame it's hard edges.

Smooth and polished. I am again excited to see the Italians do some good work. Excellent with halibut as well as a steak. The dried red fruits and baking spices and tobacco after taste remind me of halcyon days......

Dark red color with a lovely Sangiovese nose with a fairly full, but minimally sweet & mildly complex body with a medium length aftertaste. A very enjoyable wine.
