40th Birthday dinner at Scarpetta Beach at Gurney's in Montauk. Dark fruit with versatility. Light on the pallet thanks to 25% Sangiovese but big enough for more complex flavors thanks to the 75% Syrah. Could use a touch more bottle aging but still very approachable 3 years in.
