Bit darker, heavier, and richer than most Etna rossos I've had. The fruit is caught between developing into something richer and more complex and remaining bright and fresh, which is an appealing combination. Lots of structure, and really a textbook example of what people mean when they liken Etna simultaneously to Barolo and burgundy. Excellent stuff.

Juicy red fruit, nicely structured, really interesting aromatics. A ready offering from Etna

Salvo Foti is one of my heroes. His Aetneus 2007 is a glorious bottle. Can't wait to try in 5 more years.

Dried red fruits, with some leather and sweet hay. Dusty, persistent tannins and an iron (the metal) finish
