Drinking US pinots this week. From vines planted in 1971, this wine comes from an ‘old school’ Oregon producer. On the lighter side in terms of concentration, especially considering the old vines. Vibrant flavors of red cherry and cranberry with savory spice to keep it lively. Easy drinking here, but lacks intensity. 2018 vintage on Mar 22, 2020

This a wonderful pinot. Floral on the nose. Very acidic with raspberry and cherry, full and round flavor profile and pairs well with wild duck.
