Black fruit, charcoal, earth, floral, bramble fruit, and something funky on the nose (truffle?). It has huge elements on their own; the fruit, charred oak tannins, are all big but come together so well... even pretty. I just love 2013s.

The '12 was good but this is great. More fruit than the '12 but not the low acid fruitiness that the bard was last night.
