Taut, vivacious, charmingly guarded, smokey notes to red fruit. Great
Young, bouncy, but belies power and long future totally primary. 2010

Bright, fresh red fruit. Vibrant color. Well integrated with the oak, typical, classic left bank profile and aromas. Old library/books, and dusty attic notes. Cedar, hint of cigar box, green bell pepper. Incredibly balanced with a touch of noticeable acidity and round but firm tannins that complements this wine nicely. Pleasant and pleasing finish. Overall, well made, exciting, and exemplary of the region.

Yes! You can drink this now, but you'd be better off laying this down for another 5 - 10. If you can buy a few bottles do it now and stop thinking about it, just do it. It took 2-3 hours of air for the fruit to really come through. Complex and well balanced flavors of red fruit, green tobacco, espresso, with cedar/baking spice undertones. Not a cheap bottle but in relation to comparables for this fantastic vintage this is absolutely a QPR Bordeaux.
