Statistically speaking I should not like this very much because I usually find Russian River Valley Pinots wimpy and fruit shy. Fortunately, statistics allow for outliers and this is one I truly enjoyed. While lighter than the reds I usually go for, this has very well-balanced fruit and a tasty backbone of oak and tannins. $25.
