One of my favorite wines of the weekend. Spice, fruit, wood, earth. Lots of layers in delicate balance.

A very nice cab, unfortunately it from a small winery and available at a price that I feel is too high ( about $75.00). There’s a number of excellent cabs for a much better price.

Dark ruby color. Fantastic aromas of bluefruit, cocoa and cinnamon on the nose. Flavors of chocolate covered cherries, red plums, cedar, nutmeg and a very slight hint of cloves. Tannins are very sleek and extremely well integrated. This is a bold wine with an impressive backbone that should be even better in 10 years.
