Deep plum, spectacular black cherry and garrigue. Rope but balanced and intense and round. Long and delicious.

Fuck. This was great. Great as in the true meaning of the word "great." Timeless, classic, expressive, true. So sad this is probably the last wine I'll ever have from him. Amarone form CNDP? Seriously concentrated and dense with a great deal of finesse and complexity. Every sip was different and ethereal.

Some heat from the vintage makes this the low point of the flight (but high enough for me!)

Very nice but earthy finish is accompanied by astringent tannin. Needs a lot more age.
