Really cool Spätburgunder-like Pinot. Pretty florals, tomato leaf and earthiness intermingle on the nose leading into a lean mid-palate before finishing with a rush of saline acidity framed by superfine tannins. Well done.

This was my 2nd Bottle and it is actually better than I thought last time. Blind I think it reminds me of an aromatic Nothern Italian red more than anything else I could use as a reference for other people to understand it, like a mountain Nebbiolo (Valtellina) and Pinot had a baby.... Nebbiolo with Pinot tannins. Truly a beautiful wine.

Hot fire from the Finger Lakes. Lean and lovely, like a good German Pinot. Herbal nose, rich berries, burst of fine tannins. Good job, New York.
