Ripe and delicious, yet herbal and nuanced. Nicely extracted fruit but balanced with ripping acidity and a bunch of grip. This is slightly more down-the-middle California compared to his Mission, which is (totally delicious) kombucha/sour beer/funky and wild.

Some really nice blackberry/huckleberry/blueberry pie going on, firm tannins, strong acidity, almost a salty quality. Lively, but a bit too tight. Not sure what to make of this one... Probably just too young as it's a 2017.
