May 9th, 2015Special name, special occasion. Love ‘12 CA Cabs and this one especially. Surreal power for age 14. Still dense fruit, good balance but still more tilt and less finesse. Maybe better in 3-5 years but shows the heft of a well made Napa Cab.

Nose is like chocolate cake. Right tannins with loads of cherry and black tea.

#KWN Wine 8. Cherry and chocolate ganache. This one just didn’t do much to separate itself from the pack IMHO. I was shocked upon reveal. Hall is one of my faves, especially Jack’s. I distinctly recall the 2013. I also think this wine suffered dramatically from the two prior ones as it didn’t hold up in comparison.

Oct 7th, 2017Delicious. Put it in the blender to flash aerate and saved 6 hours of time. Great with a spicy homemade pizza pie.
