Beautiful wine, bugger than you would expect. Bright berries, grippy tannin.

Oct 8th, 2016Delicious smoky Syrah with a distinct Old World sensibility. A bit of bacon and earthy but no olives, and showing Californian warmth in place of Cote Rotie stonyness. Still - terrific wine for $30, and great way to let sleeping Jamets lie.

For $29 retail, yeah baby. Wanted another reference point for the Halcón vineyard before I rip into my bottle of Jolie Laide.

I love Syrah, especially THIS Syrah. Lovely color and scent. Excellent balance of fruit and spice. Fills my whole mouth with a pop of fruit then melts into spice. A bad election needs a great wine
