WHOA there's a lot of wine in that bottle. Enough sexy, luscious Nebbiolo fruit to get lost in, then the finish says "HEY I'm a badass young Barolo with dem noble tannins and acidity not to be messed wit. Y u drinkin me so soon?" (Direct quote)

In 7-10 years this really should be one of the best bottles in my cellar. I paid 40 bucks for this. It's worth double.

My first taste of 2011 Barolo. Generous and gorgeous room-filling nose that offers a herbaceous anise note, raspberry tea, rose petals, and other more complex herbs and spices. Just delightful to smell. Very similar on the palate with good acid, generous soft tannins giving good grip, and finishes with a candied raspberry tea note. Very clean, no real funk or Brett,, light and yet expresses a complexity that belies its weight.

Ripe and silky Nebbiolo fruit. Red and savory with anise. Pushes the ripeness envelope without heavy extraction.

Buone note floreali tipiche di rosa, liquirizia nel finale, gran corpo e tannini dominanti
