Didn’t have much decanting time but the wine was balanced and structured as you would expect w a Groth reserve ! Big but not too big .. nose was good .

En magnum. Exactly what Cali can should be. Ripe fruit, soft tannic structure, sweet tobacco and spice.

Always a solid wine from Groth but I repeatedly find myself underwhelmed. Far better options out there at this price point
