2019 Gramercy Cellars ‘Olsen Vineyard’ Rose- A blend of Cinsault (44%), Grenache (28%) and Syrah (28%), the 2019 Gramercy Cellars ‘Olsen Vineyard’ Rose is an absolutely awesome new wine by the superstar winemaking team of Greg Harrington, MS, and Brandon Moss. The aromatic range is seriously good from pink grapefruit blossom to cantaloupe and shades of guava and ripe strawberry all come together in the glass. The palate is both lithe and refreshing, showing great acidity and a silky texture, with marvelous earthy undertones that connect with the core of bright red fruits. Truly outstanding to savor in its youth, the 2019 Gramercy Cellars ‘Olsen Vineyard’ Rose will cellar marvelously for the next seven plus years, picking up earthy tones as it ages. This is truly one of the best Rose wines made in the Pacific Northwest. Drink 2020-2027- 93

44% Cinsault and equal parts Grenache and Syrah...holy smokes a big bold flavored fruit with a huge punch dry pucker on the finish. An amazing Rose, I could literally drink this all day! Walla Walla is such an under rated wine region.

Beautiful pale salmon, watermelon color...nice red fruit attack with some tart Jolly Rancher notes. Medium weight on the palate with smooth, round follow through on the finish. After getting bored with Rose the last couple years, I really enjoyed this one on a snowy April Quarantine day in Chicago.

Beautiful color and ripe fruits. Plush texture and good body. Finished with spice and freshness from the well judged acidity. Can be had on its own and paired well with a summer grain salad - can easily stand up to a variety of dishes and will age well in the near term I would think. Delicious.
