Nostril notes of briny oysters, golden raisin, clover honey, burnt cedar, vine charcoal. Big palatal forefront of cinnamon roll, coffee cake, candied lemon and laquer in a complex, satisfyingly rich finish!

Less floral but creamier and a bit peppery. Less conflicted palate that's still creamy and tasty. Long complex finish. Gordon's tasting 8/25/16 special scotch. 16yr. 43% ABV. American hogheads oak barrels. Classical American oak profile. Oily candied and warmed marshmallow nose. Hints of fruits. Caramel. Sweet notes on finish when retested.
