Aug 12th, 2015Made with indigenous grape varietal Pugnitello, following traditional method using native yeast, this is a beautiful wine! Dark opaque purple burgundy in color, smells of intense cured savory meat like Jamon Ibirico, with notes of black truffle, cranberry, cigar and fig jam, sweet and firm tannin, with tastes of black tea, raisin, fig, pomegranate and date, excellent structure and a very long finish, very tasty, a velvety bold wine.
