Good with food. Definitely needs to decant, and much lighter than expected and described. Acidic with red fruit, not much complexity. Not bad, but not worth the price point!

Lots of fennel/aniseed - nice bottle for a splurge/special occasion. Will likely open well. Spring dish: pork/new potatoes/fennel/black olives
