Dark yellow with stone fruit nose and floral spice. On the palate tart fruits, over spicy, notes of oak and lemon, almost unpleasant. Small disappearing bubbles ending with some yeasty notes. Very pricey for champagne past it's prime.

What a fantastic vintage.. 2002 is considered a great one and this was a marvelous rendition. Beautiful balance of acid and bubble, fragrant nose of peaches, ginger, almond, and flint, exhibiting notes of golden apples, amuse-bouche, and a lengthy, fig finish. For under $100, quite a hidden gem. This is how you start 2017, 15 year old champage.

Gold. Fine, whispy bubbles and an extraordinary richness provide ample balance for the racy acidity. This has it all going on right now: nerve, complexity, depth and real enjoyment. Try to keep from gulping it down if you can.
