Smells great, a light fresh take on tar & roses with bright red fruits. Palate starts light with a bit of effervescent cherry but changes quickly to this corn grain/ maize flavor . Very strange and not for the every day drinker.

Light orange on the rim
Oak, earth and hints of leather
Cherry, spicy, hints of chocolate, vanilla
Clove
Somewhat sparkly and rather sweet

Excellent accompaniment with the food

Flowers and tar, great acidity, awesome value.

The balance seemed just a bit off on this. A bit too sweet for my liking. Had this immediately after a very good Barolo, so perhaps the competition wasn’t fair.

Vivant! Very dry and on the lighter side.

Gorgeous

Drank a bottle at 11 Madison Park in NYC, great wine, enjoyed it but it was part of a tasting menu so not sure how it would stand on its own
