I just had a glass of the 2030 Foris Pinot Noir Estate Grown Rogue Valley. May be the worst Pinot Noir ever. No aroma that anyone could identify, color was good but taste was awful. I’ve never done this before but I poured out the entire bottle. Yech

The nose of this is something awful, with a heavy scent of petroleum. I wondered if the bottle was bad, but the wine tastes fine. It has a smokiness playing off a sour fruit flavor, but the smell is very off-putting.

Blackberry aromas. Very tart acidity, a bigger body than expected for a pinot, and earthy tannins with an unexpected underlying smoky note. A very interesting variation of a pinot.

Somewhat smoky, probably due to severe wildfires in 2019. However it adds a different kind of flavor that isn't overwhelming
