Crimson in color with the slightest bit of orange. Opened up over 3-4 hours, still has room to cellar. Rustic nose: herbal notes, bloodorange, cherry, but not overly aerobatic. On the palate, is more viscous than expected, with red fruit. Tannins are there, but acidity is just as prevalent. Much better when pair with pasta. (My first Nebbiolo from this region, tasted while in Varenna).
