Rustic fruit and some tertiary flavors coming on the nose - pencil shavings, dried cranberries, violet, and asphalt. Palate is elegant with more dried cranberry, tomato paste, bright acidity and some sweet oak and plummy fruit as it opens up. Not bad for a 7 year old $15 wine.

I didn't like it at first. Re-tasted it a fews days later and it opened up nicely. More fuller-bodied and oaky than I'd expect from a Crianza, although I do appreciate that the bodega waits beyond the required limit to release a more aged than usual Crianza compared to a lot of other bodegas.

Very smooth, daily drinker. Nice slightly smokey, lots of pitted fruit flavors. A very good Crianza.

My first Rioja. I enjoyed it. Opened up with time. Much better the 2nd day. I picked up new notes in the flavor the 2nd tasting.

Very nice Tempranillo grapes produce a light and easy to drink medium-bodied Rioja. Light, easy young red fruit notes develop into a nice oak influenced flavour in the body.

Aged Rioja is amazing!!
Decanted an hour before drinking. I'd say this is a medium-full bodied wine. Definitely got cherries on the palate. Had some spice as well. #totalwine

Not bad for an everyday Rioja but it was on sale for $12 at Total Wine. Would not pay the typical $16 for it.
