From the cellar door. Had the patience to sample over 3 nights and it’s been getting better and better. I initially found it closed and spicy and on night 3 it has reached a kind of harmony of fruit, spice, and soil. This is not a small wine but its generosity seems to have come honestly. I’m interested to see it integrate more and find more spine and flash but I think it’s wholly possible and likely.
