Velvety tannins with dried strawberries, chanterelle mushrooms and a balsamicy undertone. Wonderful balance of fruit and earth. deliciousness! Needs time to breathe.

Wine aged in smaller French oak barrels gives this vintage a particularly strong oak flavor which is untypical of a traditional Brunello. Unfortunately, this gives the wine a seemingly unbalanced character which is very tannin forward.
