A blend of 83% Malbec and 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged 24 months in oak. Huge body, very dense color, and a complex nose. Lots of vanilla and tobacco.

JC Marin brought this 2011 as a blind tasting amongst friends. Unmistakable bold fruit on the nose. Inky purple color. Fruit and pepper dominant, but complex structure that will age well for decades. Great malbec!

09 - Malbec, Cab, Temp 66/20/14 Opaque color w/dark purple maniscus. Rich, hanging purple tears. The purple has purple. Deep berry nose. Table pepper with faint cedar nose. Smooth and silky tannins with deceiving structure. Elegant considering the tremendous amount of dark fruit going on. Opened 4/11/15
