Took 4 hours to open up. Still tight and needs a few more years, but a beautiful wine. Darker fruits abound.

I love the aromatics on this wine. Always thought this was the feminine expression from this producer versus their masculine Las Piedras bottling. Raspberry, blackberry, graphite and cedar. Tannins have softened a bit in the last 18 months and this is ready to go with an hour decant.

Jul 13th, 20173-hour decant. Dark purple in color. Tobacco, blue fruit and spring flowers on the nose. Red fruit, baking spice and cocoa. Minerality on the finish. Will benefit from a few years but surprisingly approachable now with some air.
