Saumur cab franc that drinks more like a Sauvignon- it’s powerful, builds intensity, & linear somehow even though it maintains it’s light/medium body. What a find. Never heard of producer. Mature raspberries, blackberries & just a balanced purity of fruit that hooked me. curiously devoid of those pencil shavings or green notes typical in cab franc. For about 17$ an outrageous value & can’t wait to try their more expensive cuvées.
