"Odedi"

Dark ruby in color with a reddish rim.

Earthy nose of blue and black fruits with light cedar, earth, light bell pepper, dark chocolates, tobacco leaf, vegetables, black pepper, Indian spices, herbs and black tea.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with black currants, ripe plums, sweet blueberries, peppercorn, light cedar, licorice, spices, dark chocolates, earth, vegetables, espresso, black tea and herbs.

Long finish with round tannins, cherries and red chili pepper.

This young Cabernet Franc from Napa Valley is already drinking beautifully. Rich and nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel. Spicy and entertaining, very complex and engaging.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after 90 minutes in the decanter. Tannins show up after an hour.

This Single Vineyard Cabernet Franc will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years. The high alcohol is already well integrated.

Good by itself as a sipping wine or with food. Would pair nicely with lamb dishes.
