Strong Blackberry (blackberry pie), ripe strawberries, subtle spice and vanilla (Slavonian oak). Strong, gripping tannins, raspberries, sour cherry on palate. Classic Barberesco. 2008. Second day: dark chocolate m, dark cherry, less tartness on palate, continuing strong tannins. Very good.
