This was a really excellent Cabernet choice at a reasonable price in a restaurant. It’s about 80% Cab Sauv and 20% Cab Franc. A really nice blend that has the cassis and fresh raspberry flavors of Sauv with some raisin and bramble from the Franc, or anyway that’s the mix of flavors it brings. The tannins are perfectly integrated and this was a good accompaniment to the array of small dishes we got at this relatively new East Dallas restaurant. The rest of their wine list looks good too.
