Year in, year out, Phillipe Guigal does an extraordinary job with his Cotes du Rhone red. It is an exceptional value. This vintage is a particularly good example of a classic red Rhone. I highly recommend it as an inexpensive way to figure out whether to explore Rhone and Rhone style (e.g., Canberra district) wines.

Oct 13th, 2014I drunk this wine a year ago and it was not ready for me. I opened a bottle yesterday and it was ok. It has too much alcohol content 14% and can give some people a headache. Have it with some curry if you must. Me will wait again a year and give it one final chance.
