Absolutely fabulous 29 year old cab from Carmel valley’s oldest Cabernet vineyard planted at 1500’ in 1968. Almost Bordeaux like with some California weight. Beautiful dark mahogany. Still has some primary fruit (dusty dark cherry) complimented by notes of tobacco, Cedar and subtle dill. Well made and still has a lot of life. I love these old durney wines.
