A weird bit of lacquer and heat on the nose, which mostly blows off and settles down to more classic cab notes. Was a bit better with food. Has mostly dark cassis fruit, still some dry tannins on the finish, good acidity and some oak feels yet unresolved. These drink beautifully young. Maybe still in a rough patch.
