Les Légendes R Bordeaux Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

DBR's Diane Flamand makes her Vins de Collection wines with the intention they'll be enjoyed with food. This 50/50 blend of SB and Sem is the exception for aperitif and with oysters. Pristine, mineral with M intensity pear, citrus, passion fruit, white peach and M+ acidity.

Acidic, almost sour. Chalk it up to poor storage.

Had this a couple of weeks back. Remember it being an easy drinker, fruity with a sort of liquorice hint. Nice clean finish.

$18 at HPWS. Did not like at all. Possibly may have been corked.

Nice easy drinking yet well structured, pleasant dark, dry fruit. Nice relieve while here in China!!

Nice even wine. Not too Stoney. Great beginners wine for a non Bordeaux drinker.

Pleasant, well-balanced, red and black fruits. Nice tannins. A great table wine for all occasions. 60% Cab, 40% Merlot. This is a real steal at under $20.
