Ooo this was a thriller for the price. In a style familiar to any fan of Gramenon, this was primal and gamey, richly colored but surprisingly bright and acid-driven. Needs more time in bottle and a good decant, the tannins are firm. But damn. Red and black fruit, saddle leather, bacon fat, kalamata olive, garrigue and hot stones. 🍒🥓🐎⛰️

Dull, yet complex? Tannic with pomegranate up front, finishing with black pepper and leather. Update: more enjoyable, less harsh, more fruity as it comes to room temp

This wasn’t my favourite wine and I knew it wouldn’t be from the smell. It’s very light on the nose and similarly when drinking it has almost a watery quality. Might have been a nice summer red
