When you gotta open a white for the cheese course: I guess you can settle for Leflaive.

Really refined for Macon, more like a Beaune or Nuit blanc.

Discreet nose of white flowers, a bit disappointing. The palate is more interesting with peach, lemon and a fat sensation. An acid backbone that bring balance to all this matter and texture. A refreshing finish. Let’s say I had higher expectations than what this bottle delivers

Lemon meringue, papaya, cheese rind, brown pear, mushrooms, creme brûlée, cedar, dried stone fruit, old book funk. Perfect acidity, silky texture, long citrus pulp/creamy finish.
