Initial funk blew off to deliver supple medium-weight fruit and white pepper. Lovely slippery mouthfeel. Delish drink.

All the blackberry, cassis, and violets you'd expect and then some. Incredible black pepper and meatiness paired with unique minerality

The 2012 is a stylish, juicy drop. Subtle brown spice tones overlay gorgeous black cherry, cassis and red plum fruit. Nose hints at graphite, soy and a touch of freshly pave road. Lush, round tannins with precise acidity accent the red fruit profile. This is enticing to drink now with its impeccable balance. This is the type of vintage to enjoy over the next 10 to 12 years but I would not be surprised if it is still wonderful over a longer drinking window.

This was also very youthful but what a future. This had dark red & black fruits, iron, graphite, meat, wild herbs, pepper, olive & floral notes all wrapped in a deep mineral core.
