Domaine Haut Perron Sauvignon Blanc

This is a very good wine with more fruit forward Apple and citrus than I expect from Loire.

Same region as the previous Sauv Blanc I blind tasted, Touraine, but completely different. Grapefruit and citrus fruit nose, fresh and crisp on the pallet with high acidity. Nice warm day wine which is opposite of what the weather is like in the Netherlands right now.

Classic Loire that shines without a heavy grassiness. Sharp acidity on the attack and finish, but jasmine flowers and matcha give it complexity and depth. Lime and white grapefruit compliment its salinity. Good bang for you buck.

Hint of grapefruit & honeysuckle on the nose.
